Role Reversal

So today I styled three gorgeous M+P models for photographer Duane Nasis, but obviously that isn't no model in the picture above, its me! I decided to step in front of the big lens and strike a pose for Mr. Nasis and I think he caught me right in my element. He gave me direction, told me how to tilt my head and move my leg, I thought to myself, so this is what it feels like to be a model. Fun! Not! I'll stick to making the magic happen behind the scenes. With all that said, I love the picture, my face not so much but my posture is ace and the filter on it gives it such an artistic feel.
Until next time.

Un Bout

The master pioneer of the stiletto never gets it wrong. These beauties have been spotted on the feet of Rihanna, Alicia Keys, Rita Ora, Lala and Po! Only kidding! Beyoncé not Po. They seem to be a winner amongst the celebs and who can blame them? I'm in lurrrrrrrve.

Its always nice to flick through a magazine and see your work published inside. This is my second editorial for FAB Magazine and I particularly enjoyed this shoot. Apart from the smoking model of course, the pieces I decided to pull were formal/casual which allowed me to play around with different looks.

Cat Eyes

Source: Net-A-Porter
My obsession with the 50s era is just... I dunno. Currently going gaga over cat eye frames at the moment, you know, as if they haven't been around for like ever. I bought a pair out in L.A from the vintage clothing store down Hollywood Blvd, but returned them immediately after feeling guilty about not getting my little sister anything. *sigh*.
Above are a few favourites I found window shopping on Net-A-Porter.
Yes, I can admit that, window shopping. *cries silently*

Photo Diary: L.A | Hollywood

I was so in love with this dress from ASOS, I pulled it for one of my shoots, the model loved it because it reminded her of
The Lakers. Lol
Apart from my hotel, this place was my second home!
This apartment that we shot at up NoHo (North Hollywood) was just breathtaking!
Downtown L.A
Oooo its the lights! Satisfaction! Hollywood!
Feel free to cringe as I sing and type those first lines ^_^!

Flew out to L.A a couple week backs to familiarise myself with the city and work on a few styling projects, I only got back on Tuesday and jet lag will not allow me to live! Anyway a few things fell through and a few things didn't however I did get to work with a lovely model and an amazing photographer who in fact called me out there for the opportunity in the first place. Truth be told I had a blast and enjoyed every single day. Networked with some amazing individuals, ate at some of the best restaurants, pulled from some of the most popular showrooms such as Starworks Group L.A, and even enjoyed being a tourist site seeing down Hollywood Blvd.

The only thing I can say is, I wish I had some one to share most of my moments with, especially someone to help take pictures of my outfits! Now is the best time to invest in a Tripod I think. Talking of Tripod, can you believe I brought my SLR camera with me all the way across the atlantic without its memory card! So my iPhone became its substitute by default. I ended up buying another memory card out there but that wasn't until I found somewhere to exchange my money which was like halfway into the trip. Don't ask. So apologies about some of the poor quality in images, better some than none ey?!

Enjoy the photo diary and I also just want to say thanks to all those who helped make this trip happen for me it will never go unappreciated. Oh and stay tuned for the end product. Coming soon!
