I had one of the greatest privileges to attend a 'Spectacle Wearer of the Year' (SWOTY) Awards ceremony and I couldn't be more excited, I attended the evening with my lovely boyfriend and was dressed by the lovely Virgos Lounge for the occasion. (Check out my outfit here) The event took place at the Battersea Power Station in true style. Hosted by Gok Wan and Kara Toiton, the Awards ceremony kicked off by introducing the 10 SWOTY finalist with a fashion show. The winner would receive a modelling contract and become the face of Specsavers.
The event was blissful, tables filled with goodies and lots of wine, celebrities such as Nancy Dell'Olio who I had a lovely chat with in the ladies room, Stylist Grace Woodward who was judge on the night, Martine Mccutcheon, Max George from music band sensation 'The Wanted', and many more graced the evening with their presence. I had a great evening, it was amazing to be amongst the elite, celebrate and raise money for the Kidscape Charity which the event was also in aid of.
So I just want to thank you Tommy so much for the invite, it was a great experience, hopefully one of many because I had a ball!
